Martin, I don't know that film. But I find it interesting that often when you convert photos to B&W and then add a small shade of tone you create a very different atmosphere. It's what I like about B&W - you can get atmosphere. In many old photos of period houses we only ever saw them in B&W and the idea here was to try and place the house back in time - at least in our imagination. If it reminded you of your childhood then maybe it did take your mind back in time!

I don't know exactly why, Frank, but this takes me straight back to my childhood. I'm also reminded of the film, 'Dead of Night'. Do you know it?
